Each step that Bradly took his heart was in his mouth. His heels clicked loudly on the street as walked and he was sure that everyone was staring at him. In front of him two women were walking towards him engaged in a conversation. 'This is it,' he thought to himself.
With each step that he took he drew closer to the women. He began to feel just how short his purple miniskirt was, too short for a night like this. No woman would wear a skirt this short, would she? His legs in the white pantyhose he wore were cool and he pulled his fake fur jacket closer around him for comfort. They were only a few paces away now. The two women were looking at him then he saw their eye flick over his body taking in his clothes in the way women do. Just then a gust of wind blew down the street and his already short skirt blew up even further. The two women were knowing whispering to themselves, their head close together. Another few steps and they were right in front of him and now he could see their faces clearly as their eyes met. What would they do? Scream? Shout at him? Call the police. He began to panic, this had been a bad idea he was being to bold.
Appearing as a woman
"That's a nice jacket," said one of the girls. "Do mind me asking where you bought it?"Alan responded out of instinct, unable to think of anything else.
"Oh, it's from 'Fillies' that boutique on Oakland Avenue," he said in his best feminine voice.
"Very nice, do you shop there often," the second woman asked with a cheeky smile.
"Yes, a fair bit," Alan said unsure of what the women were going to do.
"You look fantastic, if hadn't been for your voice we would never have been sure," the woman said. "But we just had to find out."
"Well you have a nice evening then," said the first woman. "And be careful. A pretty boy like you shouldn't be out this late in a skirt so short."
The two girls walked off without another word but Alan could hear them chattering away to each other as they continued down the street.
As for Alan, he skipped all the way home.
